We don't have microphones and have to use text to chat while playing, so constant alt-tabbing to chat windows gets annoying, the OIG overlay would be nice to use. If you want to check whether Origin overlay is enabled or not, just play a game using origin, and press Shift + F1. My friend that I'm playing coop with has the exact same problem, actually. When I go to the Co-Op Menu and try to invite someone it will pop up then (no errors about it being disabled like others seem to experience), but the key combo (Shift+F1 or whatever else I set it to) will not bring it up or put it away (after inviting my friend to a game I have to click the X in the corner).īasically the overlay is there and it's working in the background, but the keypresses themselves will not interact with it. The beta version of Origin didn't fix it, either. None of these things make any difference.
